A native of Saginaw, Michigan, Lyndrea Price was born in June 1978 to Richard Williams and Oracene Price. Her father is Tennis Coach, and her mother is a tennis coach plus a nurse. However, her full birth date is still missing.

She has four siblings, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Isha Price, and Yetunda Price. Additionally, Serena and Venus are her stepsisters from her mother’s side.

Regarding her nationality, she is an American citizenship holder and belongs to the Afro-American ethnicity. And, her older sister, Yetunda Price, passed away in 2003. Nonetheless, she has kept her academic background under the rug.

Lyndrea’s parents, Oracene, were previously married to the late Yusef Rasheed from 1972 to 1979. 

After sadly demised of Yusef, she tied the wedding knot with Richard Williams in 1980. Richard is a tennis coach who has coached both his daughters Serena and Venus. But, they split up after 22 years in 2002 because of irreconcilable differences. 

As with Oracene, it was Richard’s second marriage as well. Previously, he married Betty Johnson from 1965 to 1973 and shared five children with her.

As mentioned above, Lyndreas’ elder sister Yetunde was a former beauty salon owner and registered nurse. She was also a personal assistant to her sisters Venus and Serena Williams.

And, the incident took place when Yetunde was chatting with her boyfriend in her SUV, parked outside a trap house.

The two security guarding the house opened fire on the SUV because they were upholding the crack house from gangland rivals. However, her boyfriend did not initially realize that she had been hit and speeded the car to a relative’s home, where he appealed to emergency service. 

Shortly after arriving at the hospital, the hospital pronounced her dead.

 Her boyfriend, Robert Edward Maxfield, was found guilty and imprisoned for15 years in jail, but after 12 years, he was released in 2018 because of his “moral behavior.”
