Ingrid Murdoch Early Life and the Spark of Fitness

Ingrid Murdoch-née Rinck-born on April 24, 1981, has a life story just as inspiring as it is varied. Raised in Louisiana, her life was introduced to the world of fitness rather early.

At 15, she went to a fitness class that would change her life’s course. Within one year, the participant had transformed into an instructor, marking the beginning of her two-decade-long career in the fitness world.

Entrepreneurial Ventures: Turning Passion into Profession

Ingrid’s passion for exercise earned her over 40 different certifications and numerous awards. When her son Rock was 8, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Hence fueling the fire in her heart to do more with nutrition and healthy eating, thus founding Sensible Meals.

Along with Sensible Meals, Ingrid built The Rinck Routine, a holistic online exercise brand streaming workout classes that meld dance and yoga with Pilates moves. She founded the Leading Ladies League, too, which provides financial and other support to females, especially single moms. Through these, Ingrid has expressed her commitment to health, wellness, and community support.

A Love Story with Tyrus: From Friendship to Forever

Thus, Ingrid’s life changed when she met George Murdoch, better known as Tyrus, an American professional wrestler, actor, and TV cable political commentator. The two were introduced to each other’s company by mutual friends more than a decade ago and found common ground in their passion for keeping fit and living healthy.

Although they were in a long-term relationship, they kept their marital status private until Tyrus came out in April 2020 and let the world know that they were married with an emerald engagement ring, even though they had been married for years.

Building a Family: Love, Laughter, and Exotic Animals

Tyrus and Ingrid have a combined family of five children: Rock and Rhett – sons of Ingrid from a former relationship; two children, a girl and a boy, of Tyrus of his previous relationship; and Georgie Jane Murdoch, born on May 7th, 2014.

The family lives on a farm up north in New Jersey, where exotic animals of all kinds roam and settle, including reptiles and horses. This odd which, along with his family, he often refers to as the “Tyrus-zilla Zoo“-is a huge part of their family life.

Even though Tyrus had been referring to Ingrid as his wife for years, on January 6, 2024, the couple finally got themselves a license and, in private, got married. The marriage license was the final step that recognized them as being in a family, with children included.

Ingrid has been more than just a partner to Tyrus; she has been his rock, supporting him through and through in his career. Her encouragement and belief in his capabilities have greatly supported his success.

Tyrus always speaks about how her support helped him weave through the challenges of his profession from the wrestling ring to the TV screen.

Personal Life and Interests: Beyond Fitness and Family

Besides being very busy, Ingrid has taken an active role in the care and management of the couple’s collection of exotic animals. Whereas she was initially afraid of animals and reptiles, she grew to love them. Once again showing how flexible and compassionate this lady truly is.

Ingrid is also widely involved in various charity and community work, especially in support of single mothers through her business enterprises.
