Talking about the Profession, Bill formed a production company along with his friend, Kevin Booth which later famously known as Sacred Cow in 1982. Following in 1984, he appeared on the show Late Night with David Letterman for the first time.

Later in 1987, an opportunity came in Bill’s life when Rodney Dangerfield offered him a chance to perform on Young Comedians Special, after watching one of the tapes of his previous shows. Later he moved to New York City and went on to perform more than 250 times a year, also for the next five years.

Bill Hicks died from the effects of pancreatic cancer on Saturday, February 26, 1994, in Little Rock at the age of 32.
