Bobby Shmurda was born on August 4, 1994, in Miami, Florida, He is the son of a Trinidadian mother and a Jamaican father. After his birth, they were moved to Brooklyn, New York, after his father’s incarceration, formerly living in East Flatbush. Shmurda also had run-ins with the law while living in Brooklyn.

Career

Regarding his career, he is best known for his song ‘Hot Ni*ga’, in July 2014 a song that debuted the ‘Shmoney dance,’ which reached viral after the release of the music video. On December 17, 2014, Police arrested him in New York City, claiming that he was the leader of a Crips gang known as GS9, he shot into public crowds and murdered a member of a competitive gang.

He faces a maximum punishment of 8-25 years.
