Griffith had a good two season with the team and then in 1995, he joined Carolina Panthers after the NFL Expansion Draft. Howard played for two seasons for the club and then in 1997, Griffith joined Denver Broncos. Griffith played in the full back position and he wore the team jersey for 5 seasons.
