Alex Mallari Jr. was born on February 19, 1988, in the Philippines but brought up in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Before getting into acting, he played competitive basketball in high school St George campus until he was injured. Alex was also a national level Tae Kwon Do player.

After graduation, Mallari starred in TV series, Cold Blood, in 2009 as Kosoul Chanthakoummaneand ‘True Justice’ as the character Hiro. He made guest appearances in many hit movies Dead Genesis, Robocop, Pay The Ghost, and others. After years of struggle, he got his big break in 2015 in  Four / Ryo Tetsuda in Tv series Dark Matter. Also, he starred in other TV series such as Designated Survivor, Conviction, and Insomnia.

Alex was married to YouTube lifestyle vlogger Alexandra Beth in 2010 at an intimate ceremony. His ex-wife is best for her AlexandrasGirlyTalk channel, where she posts videos related to DIY projects, make-up tutorials, and personal vlog testimonials.

In additon, the couple shares a son, Alonzo Mallari, who was born on November 2016. After being together for nearly eight years, the pair decided to split apart and officially divorced in 2018, agreeing to co-parent their three years old son.

After divorcing his first wife, the actor hasn’t involved in any romantic affairs but scrolling through his Instagram, he shares a picture with a mysterious girl captioning in French, “C’est Toi,” which means ” Is that You”. It seems like; the 31-year-old has found his lady love though the official confirmation is yet to come.
