Jerry Stiller was born as Gerald Isaac Stiller on June 8, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York City, the United States of America. He is the eldest of four children to mother Bella Stiller and father William Stiller, a bus driver.

Jerry lived in the communities of Williamsburg and East New York until his family moved to the Lower East Side where he attended high school at Seward Park. Stiller attended Syracuse University, graduating in 1950 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Drama.

Jerry Stiller made his acting debut appearing in the television series Studio One in Hollywood from 1956-1957. Then he played the role Tyler, in the series The Big Story. He is also credited for the series like General Electrical Theater, The Courtship of Eddie’s Father, Fish Hooks, and Joe and Sons.

Jerry played the role of Jim in the 1970’s film Lovers and Other Strangers, featuring Beatrice Arthur, Richard Castellano, and Gig Young. He starred the part of L.t Rico Patrone in 1974’s film The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, alongside, Hector Elizondo, Walter Matthau, and Robert Shaw. Likewise, Jerry portrayed the role Maury Ballstein in 2016’s film Zoolander 2, featuring Will Ferrell, Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig, and Fred Armisen. His other film credits include Chump Change, My 5 Wives, On the Line, Teacher’s Pet, The Suburbans, and Highway to Hell.
