John H. Schnatter was born on November 22, 1961, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. John was born to Mary Beth, real estate agent and Robert Schnatter, a judge in Jeffersonville. However, his father died in 1985 while he was 24 years old. Schnatter holds an American nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity.

He attended Jeffersonville High School and completed graduation in 1979. Further, he holds a business degree from Ball State University in 1983.  In the 1980s his father co-owned Mick’s Lounge.

Rose to Stardom

58 years old, Schnatter started his career in 1984 when founded Papa John’s Pizza after converting his father’s tavern. He sold out his 1972 Camaro Z28  and began selling pizzas to the tavern’s customers. Moreover, his hard work and dedication towards his work made him one of the well-known business entrepreneurs. Later, on December 21, 2017, he became CEO of Papa John’s. Moreover, Schnatter replaced as  CEO on January 1, 2018, by Operating Officer Steve Richie. Further, he resigns from the post of CEO on 26 July 2018. He also contributed to Donald Trump‘s 2016 presidential campaign.
