Peter Facinelli was born on November 26, 1973, in Ozone Park, Queens, the United States. His mother, Bruna Reich was a homemaker, and father, Pierino Facinelli was a waiter. Facinelli’s parents were immigrants from Italy. His father is from Revò, Italy, and his mother is from Spormaggiore, Italy. Peter was brought up as a Roman Catholic. Thus, he attended a catholic school called St. Francis Preparatory School in Fresh Meadows, New York.

He portrayed the role of  Maxwell Lord on the first season of the TV series, Supergirl. Peter played the role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the adoptive father Edward which is portrayed by Robert Pattinson in The Twilight Saga film sequel. In an interview, he revealed that he was not going to take the role, although he did after reading the book. He had stated:

 I almost didn’t read for Twilight. My agent said, ‘Do you want to do a vampire movie?’ And I was like, ‘No.’ I was totally thinking of blood and guts and bats in caves, like some kind of horror movie. They literally talked me into reading the book and I actually enjoyed the book a lot.

Currently, Peter is working on his upcoming projects and will surely come up with interesting roles in 2020.
