Sandra Oh was born in Nepean, Ontario, on July 20, 1971, as Sandra Miju Oh. She is the daughter of middle-class South Korean immigrants Oh Junsu(John), a businessman and Jeon Young-nam, a biochemist. In the early ’60s Oh moved to the area with her parents. She grew up in a Christian household, along with brother Ray Oh and sister Grace Oh.
