Stacy Edwards

Stacy Edwards is an American actress who is best known for playing Dr.Lisa Catera on the medical drama Chicago Hope. Edwards’ role in movies such as Primary Colors, Black and White and Driven helped her to earn massive fame.

Early Life of Stacy

Stacy Edwards was born in Glasgow, Montana on March 4, 1965. She is a daughter of Preston Edwards who was an Air force officer and her mother Patty Edwards was a homemaker.

However, her career took a path after she received a scholarship at Lou Conte Dance Studio in Chicago. Stacy started her career as a dancer. Ultimately she auditioned for television and got the role in NBC daytime soap opera Santa Barbara(1986 ). Coincidently legendary actress Julia Roberts also auditioned for the role but could not make it at the time.

Stacy Edward married American actor Eddie Bowz in 1996. The longtime married couple started dating in 1995 and rumors have they met during their struggling days. She also regularly appeared in CBS comedy-drama series Sons and daughter(1991) and Chicago Hope as Dr. Lisa Catera for 2 seasons. (1997).

She played a lead role in films like Four Dogs Playing Poker and Mexico city. Edwards appeared as a guest star in various television shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, NCIS, House and many more. Her recent work was in ABC Family series The Lying Game which aired in 2011.
