Tindyebwa Agaba is the founder and director of the charity organization Muryango which helps African refugees by providing them with financial guidance and also preparing them for job interviews. Likewise, he is also popular as the adopted son of the British actress Emma Thompson and her husband Greg Wise.

Though Agaba always stays far from the limelight, his well-wisher wants to know about his personal life. What is his current relationship status? Who is his partner in crime?

Tindyebwa Agaba Wise was born in Rwanda. However, his actual birth date is unknown. His father used to work as a farmer on a tea plantation. Agaba grew up along with his three sisters. Tindyebwa and his sister’s life changed when their father passed away after consuming AIDS.

After the death of their father Tondyebwa and his sisters were forced to drop out of school. Once Wise stated that he has not seen his biological mother since the day she left him and his sister at Care International. Sadly when Tindyebwa was just 10 years old the organization was shut down and he and his sisters returned back to their home.

Tindyebwa Agaba Wise’s Problem During His Childhood

At that time the political situation in his country was bad as the children of his age were being kidnapped by the militia. Similarly, Tindyebwa and his sisters found themselves in the clutches of the militia and they were forced to be soldiers.

Tindtebwa and other children were forced to cross the border of the Democratic Republic of Congo. At that time Tindyebwa was placed in a group of boys, whereas his sisters were forced to go with another group consisting of only girls. Soon Wise turned into a child soldier and he even used weapons to fight against the government.

After spending some years at the camp as a child soldier, Tindyebwa managed to leave the camp. While escaping, the cops arrested him and imprisoned him for about 13 months.

After that Agaba made his way back to Uganda. There an employee of Care International found Wise and sent him to the UK where the head office of Care International is located. Tindyebwa faced several difficulties in London until the authorities of the ‘Refugee Council’ found him.

Thompson’s Adoption

Tindyebwa met Emma Thompson at the refuse Council. Emma invited him to spend Christmas with her and her family. However, Wise had no idea about Thompson’s celebrity status so he felt hesitant to accept her offer as he couldn’t trust anyone after the incident.

But Emma did not give up on him and eventually managed to gain his trust. After a few months, Agaba became comfortable spending time with Thompson and her family. In addition, Agaba has a sister Gaia Romilly Wise from her adoptive parents.

Education & Qualifications

Emma and her husband decided to adopt Wise into her family. Wise joined The University of Exeter from where he graduated with a degree in Politics and International Relations. Likewise, Wise completed his master’s degree in Human Rights Law from SOAS University of Londo before completing a Human Rights Law Fellowship.

After completing his education, Tindyebwa began working with several humanitarian and charitable organizations.
