Moreover, since 1994, Billings has lived with HIV and has been supported for HIV health initiative also, she works for the betterment of transgender problems and trans rights.

When she talks about her fight against AIDS, she says she believes she has survived all these years because her wife stood by her, loved and supported her through everything.
