She gained her education from South Tyneside College and Collingwood College. Later she completed post-graduation in Journalism from City University London.

Working as a reporter on BBC for three years she became a radio presenter and started a co-presenting drive time show.  On 23rd April 2011, she joined the Weekend Breakfast show of BBC Radio 5 Live. Anna is a married woman.  She got married to John Foster in 2009. They first met each other while working. John was a freelance host on commercial radios and local BBC. Before marrying they dated each other for about three years. Their wedding ceremony was held at Crathorne Hall near Yarm, North Yorkshire with their families and near friends.

 

Sometime after their marriage, they moved to West Yorkshire because Anna was offered her dream job there. The couple decided to permanently live there and bought a house in a village just out of Halifax. Despite some ups and downs in their life, they are living a happy married life.

Being Parents

While being parents they faced huge problems before giving birth to their first child. Anna faced a miscarriage in November 2011 while she was eight weeks pregnant. They were unfortunate for the second time also as they faced another miscarriage in 21 weeks of pregnancy. They both were very sad and disturbed. After having two miscarriages Anna was discovered with a problem called healthy translocation.

But later in 2012 the couple was blessed with a healthy son, Benjamin Foster. There was no bound of their happiness. Their happiness was doubled when they gave birth to their daughter in 2014. Now the family of four is living a  very happy life.
