Bert Kreischer debuted as a comedian, performing in a bar and nightclub named Potbelly in Tallahassee, Florida. He left Florida and moved to New York City, where he was hired by Boston Comedy Club, DJ Nash, the TV producer, and he often attended the mics.

Back in 2004, Kreischer and other four comedians appeared on a DVD, National Lampoon Live New Faces – Volume 2. His other TV show was The X-Show, Hurt Bert, Last Comic Standing, and The Shield.

His stand-up special includes Comfortably Dump on Comedy Central and The Machine on Showtime. Similarly, Kreischer also hosted The X-Show from 2001 to 2002.
