Early Life

Beverley O’ Connor was born on Nov 14, 1989, in South Africa. She studied journalism in Johannesburg and joined drama university. She even studied ballet for about 15 years and migrated to Australia

Career

Beverley O’ Connor served for both ABC radio and television. Before walking to the Seven News Melbourne in Jan 2005, she appeared in economics and politics and was a presenter on 774 ABC Radio for 5 years as well.

In 2006 Connor was best entertainment presenter on the Seven Network’s Melbourne Weekender.  In mid-2007 she read the news and traffic throughout the breakfast program.

Connor became the first female director of the Melbourne Football Club, where she worked on the board for the 9 years. She was also the first female to carry a vice-presidency character with an Australian Football League club. She reached down from the board in 2008, in this year which she challenged by Jim Stynes.

She was an inaugural Asia Pacific Journalism Professor and left and the interviewer from China in 2013.  Asia Connor was appointed presenter of The World on ABC News 24 replacing both Jim and Daniel, in August 2014. She currently
worked as presenter of The World on ABC News 24.

Personal Life

Beverley married with her long-term boyfriend Doug O’ Connor. The couple has welcomed a child named ‘Scarlett O’ Connor’. Doug O’ Connor, has not published any information about Connor’s past and present relationship, affairs or boyfriend. They are living together happily with their daughter. Beverley ever wanted to be an interior house designer and house restorer. She also said that she would love to do the job.
