Little information known about her parents except for that they belong to Greek descendants who moved to the US in the ’50s. Currently 32-year-old remembers as a young girl, she wanted to study nature and weather changes.

Upon completion of school from Apex high school of her hometown, she attended North Carolina State University. She graduated from the university with a BA degree in Science and Meteorology. Also, she further studied at Lyndon State College in Vermont and graduated with a BA degree in Broadcasting. Although she didn’t win the contest at that time she won Miss Vermont in 2012. Despite having won the title of Miss Vermont she applied for a job in the Vermont Department of Transportation and worked as an operational meteorologist at V-Trans. Married Michael Cammarata

Chelsea married her longtime boyfriend Michael Cammarata. Currently, Michael works as a certified financial planner at Tide Creek Financial Group. He manages strategic marketing and client acquisition, along with participating in the company’s financial planning operations. The couple first met in 2012 and dated for two years before engaging in December 2014.

The couple walked down the aisle on 9 April 2016 in a ceremony at Jones Chapel located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The duo’s reception took place in the state club. Her marriage attended by her close friends and family members including her meteorologist colleagues Kristy Breslin and Tim Williams.
