Clint Stoerner’s Bio (Early Life)

Clint Stoerner is a native of Baytown, Texas, born on 29th December 1977. His star sign is Capricorn. Regarding his nationality, Stoerner is an American and is of white ethnicity.

High School and College Career

Stoerner enrolled at Robert E. Lee High Sholl, where he was an excellent student and a letterman in baseball, football, and basketball. In football, he began as a punter and a wide receiver as a junior. Furthermore, he started off as a quarterback as a senior and was an All-State Honorable Mention selection and an All-District selection.

Upon graduation, Stoerner was recruited by a number of universities and colleges, but he decided to play for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. Throughout, his college career, he played overall 41 games recording 7422 passing yards, 57 passing touchdowns, and 37 passing interceptions.

Professional Career

Furthermore, after going updraft in the 2000 NFL draft, Stoerner received a tryout invitation for rookie minicamp, where he performed well enough to be signed as an undrafted free agent. On 12th August 2000, he was signed to the practice squad by Dallas Cowboys.

After playing two seasons for the Cowboys, Stoerner moved to Miami Dolphins in September 2003 for the club’s practice squad.

Furthermore, Stoerner switched to the Arena Football League. For the 2005 season, he was signed by Dallas Desperados where he started as a quarterback. Also, he was named the league’s rookie of the year after he broke nearly ever AFL rookie passing record.

The following year, Stoerner penned a contract with Nashville Kats and split starting quarterback duties with Leon Murray. After two games, he was released from the club. Then, he signed to Philadelphia Soul. In 2008, he returned to AFL. Nevertheless, he was released from his contract after the league postponed its debut season in 2008. Moreover, Stoerner played the final of the 2010 season for the Alabama Vipers.

After Retirement

Following his retirement, Stoerner started off as a sports analyst. Currently, he works as a sports analyst on the radio morning show of Little Rock-based Sports 93.3 The Source FM.
