Colin Quinn was born Colin Edward Colin on June 6, 1959. He was raised in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. Moreover, his parents were a teacher, and they have Irish Descendants. Besides, there is no information about his parents’ names.

Colin attended Stony Brook University for graduation in Stony Brook, Long Island. He didn’t complete his graduation due to too much intake of Alcohol. Later, he stopped drinking habits in the early 1980s and started focusing on his career.

Quinn started his career in 1984 as a stand-up comedy performer. Later, in 1987 he achieved his first fame as the sidekick announcer of the MTV game show Remote Control. He hosted many shows like A&E stand-up show ‘Caroline’s Comedy Hour’ and ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL) in 1996.

Moreover, Quinn wrote and starred in the L/Studio web series Cop Show in February 2015. Famous stars like Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Steve Buscemi, Michael Che, Tom Papa, Irina Shayk, and Amy Schumer were featured on the show. Quinn made his first Broadway debut in  1998 in a one-person front. He is the winner of the 2015 NYC  Web Fest Award for ‘Cop Show.’
