After completing his graduation, Dareh Ardashes Gregorian wanted a New York Observer as a reporter cum researcher and started his career in  1992. Later, he took up the job of a typist cum part-time reporter with New York Post and he was there from 1993 to 1995. He was also a reporter for the police from 1996 to 1997.

Later he became a general assignment exchange reporter from 1997 to 1998 and later was made the Supreme Court reporter from 1998. In 2013 he joined New York Daily News and since 2016 he became the political editor for this News. Further, he is also a member of the New York Press Club.
