Denver Dell Pyle was born on May 11, 1920, in Colorado, the U.S., to Maude Pyle and Ben H. Pyle. His father, Ben, was a farmer. He has a brother named Willis, an animator most known for his work with Walt Disney Animation Studio and UPA.
The talented actor attended a high school in the U.S. and then joined Colorado State University. Later he dropped out of college to enter show business.
