Diandra Luker was born in 1956, on a small island in Majorca. However, the exact date of her birth is yet to be revealed. Her mother was of Anglo-French descent. Whereas her father was a former Swiss-American diplomat who had a traveling job. Due to this, Diandra was sent to a boarding school in Switzerland. Later, she relocated to the United States for her higher education.
Furthermore, Diandra enrolled at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, in Georgetown. During her teenage, she was actively involved in charity and was an active member of the Red Cross.
Due to her interest in charity work, Diandra was appointed as a producer by the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, to produce documentaries for their Office of Film and Television.
In 1991, she produced an episode for the PBS’ TV series American Masters. Similarly, her other notable work includes Frederic Remington: The of Other Dogs, Beatrice Woods: Mama of Dada, and Off The Menu: The Last Days of Chasen’s.

At age of 19, Diandra met Hollywood star Michael Douglas at the swearing-in ceremony of the US President, Jimmy Carter. After two weeks of courtship, the duo started dating. Further, Douglas proposed to marry Diandra.
As Diandra was also deeply in love him, she instantly said yes. The lovebird exchanged their wedding vows on March 1977. Later two years, Diandra and Douglas became proud parents for the first time following the birth of their baby boy, Cameron Douglas.
The couple led a blissful married life for several years but later the things started turning sour and their relationship hit a rock. In 1995, Diandra and her husband started living separately. Their divorce was legally finalized in 2000.

After spending a long time in prison, Douglas was released on 1st August 2016 and moved to a halfway house in New York City.
By profession, Douglas is an American actor, widely recognized for his roles in several movies such as It Runs in the Family (2003), National Lampoon’s Adam & Eve (2005) and Loaded (2008). He appeared in It Runs in the Family alongside his grandparents and his father.
