Drew Scott was born on April 28, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the youngest of brothers James Daniel and his twin Jonathan Silver Scott. His father Jim Scott emigrated from Scotland with the hopes of being a cowboy, as seen on television. In the late 1970s, he worked as an actor and a stuntman.

His mother Joanne Scott anticipated a single child, the birth of Drew was a surprise. She worked as a paralegal in downtown Vancouver. On the twins’ seventh birthday, their dad encouraged them to get jobs, so they started their first business (called JAM), making nylon covered hangers.

Scott began acting in theater, improv, and sketch comedy from an early age. His earlier television appearances include roles on Smallville (2001)Breaker High (1997) and Madison (1993). He built up an enthusiasm for directing and producing while in secondary school, and to abstain from being a battling actor, he started investing in lands as a method for financing their own preparations.

In 2004, Drew chose to concentrate more vitality on acting, directing and producing. As a youthful, driven producer, Drew began delivering more independent films. He and Jonathan founded their own production company that later evolved into Scott Brothers Entertainment

Despite being a realtor, in January 2006 he moved in with his bestfriend Pedro in Vancouver. He began taking voice lessons and acting classes. Eventually, Cineflix offered him a hosting job for a show called Realtor Idol.
