Layla Kiffin Married Life with Lane Kiffin

The pair first locked eyes with each other in 1999 at Buccaneers facility. Lane traveled to the location to meet his father at the Tampa Bay but instead getting blown away by Layla beauty. Kiffin is an American football coach alongside the likes of Dave Wannstedt.

The pair started some conversation and soon they were dating each other. Layla and Lane felt an instant connection and just after three months of dating, the duo put a ring in each other fingers. When everything is perfect then why waste any time, isn’t it?

Dan Reaves, Layla’s Father remembers the moment when Lane asked for permission to marry his daughter. He says,

“The receptionist at my office buzzed me and said Lane was here to see me. I thought he was going to say that he was getting out of coaching and wanted a job. Instead, he asked if he could marry my daughter. I called her to ask her, ‘Is he serious?’as I wasn’t supposed to ruin the surprise. They bought an engagement ring that same day.”

After four good years of engagement, the couple exchanged wedding vows to each other. The pair accepted each other for life in July 2004 at Florida Atlantic University.

Layla Kiffin’s Children

In the couple twelve years of marriage, they share three children together. Layla gave birth to their first child named Landry Kiffin in 2005 after one year of their marriage. The couple enjoyed the blissful moment again in 2007 after Layla gave birth to another daughter.

Lane and Layla named their second daughter Pressley Kiffin and again in 2009, the couple welcomed third child named Monte Knox Kiffin. While Lane was very busy in his work as a coach, Layla stayed at home and raised her three children.

In an interview, Layla said,

“I loved what I did and was really happy with the way my career was going. But since they have arrived I can’t even imagine working. It’s just not for me. We’ve said we want more Kids, but I don’t know. I’m very happy with what I have right now.”

Layla Kiffin’s Husband Affair and Divorce Settlement

In 2016, Layla filed for divorce from her husband after Lane alleged affair with Kristen came out. Kristen is the daughter of Nick Saban and the news about her affair with Lane started floating around in August 2015.

As per the divorce settlement, Layla gets around 34.5% of Lanes’ income. In 2016, Lane said in an interview with Pete Thamel that he doesn’t make any money. He said,

“I figured it out that I really don’t make any money, I pay around 52% in taxes. Layla gets 34.5% in the divorce, and agent Jimmy Sexton gets 3%. I make 9% and I’m living in Tuscaloosa.”

After the divorce, Layla is currently single as she is not seen with any other men. She is raising her kids in a $10,000 rent apartment in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
