Further, she went on to work for Fox CT as a TV news anchor and reporter. In March 2010, she landed in the Hartford Courant where she served until March 2011, as a humor columnist. In January 2012, she arrived at Back9 Network, Inc as host and director of Ambassador Relations.

Since 2014, Lahmers appears as reporter and host of studio 5 on fox 5, for Fox5 WNYW.
