The 40-years old, Joanna Krupa is a Polish American model, animal rights activist and actress. To the world, Krupa has introduced herself as the host and head judge of the Polish Top Model. Joanna Krupa was born on 23rd Apil 1979 in Warsaw, Poland. She holds a Polish-American nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. Raised in Roman Catholic, Krupa grew up along with her younger sister Marta. Her sister, Marta is also a model.

At the age of five, Joanna and her family moved to Illinois along with her family. There she attended Mary Lyon Public School followed by Steinmetz High School.

Campaigns for Animal Rights

Animal rights group PETA has launched a pet adoption campaign depicting Krupa as an angel floating in a Catholic church packed with dogs and holding a cross covering her breasts and genitals. Previously, she appeared in the PRTA ad campaign against the use of fur.

In a cover story with Aventura Business Monthly in April 2009, Krupa said she was initially motivated to promote PETA when she saw a video of animals being skinned alive in China for their fur. Joanna also founded an animal rescue group, Angels For Animal Rescue.

Krupa’s current relationship status is married. The model tied the knot with her boyfriend turned husband Douglas Nubes. They exchanged their wedding vows on 4th August 2018 in a private ceromany at Benedictine Abbey in Krakow, Poland.

Before they tied the knot, Joanna announced her engagement with  Nunes, on March 25, 2018, on her Instagram account. The two walked down the aisle on 13 June 2013. Before the couple tied the knot, they were engaged in 2010.

Divorce with the First Spouse

Previously Joanna Krupa married to nightclub owner and businessman Romain Zago. The couple dated many years before they tied the knot. Krupa and Zago engaged back in 2010. The two exchanged their wedding vows on 13 June 2013 in Aviara, Carlsbad, California.

The couple had a blissful relationship until 2017. On July 10, 2017, Krupa divorced with Zago. The divorce was granted on 17 August 2017. They reportedly split up in December but stayed as a good friend. According to Daily Mail, The beauty didn’t spend her birthday with him at the end of April and she stepped out in LA without her wedding rings.

Currently, Joanna and her husband are expecting their first child. Since Joanna was married to Romain Zago for more than seven years, the couple doesn’t have a child.
