Early Life and Education

Kristin was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Arlington, Texas by her mother. Her father, Michael Cisneros is Mexican, whereas her mother Angelica Maldonado is Spanish-Italian. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and later joined Martin High School. After completing high school, she went to the University of Oklahoma to study Music Theater Performance. She dropped her college for Pentatonix.

Kristin joined Pentatonix along with her high school friend in 2011. She joined local theater and met next band member Mitch Grassi. The three friends, grouped together to create a capella group Pentatonix and appeared in NBA Capella competition called ‘The Sing-Off’. The won the third season of it. They have released several albums, selling worldwide. The three hit albums are able to grab Grammy Awards. The group is subscribed by 12.8 million on Youtube with 2 billion views. Besides performing in groups, Kristen appears and performs in different events. She has acted in as Liz Duran, in an episode of Bones. She has also worked in several music videos.
