Born with heart defects

Born as Ashley Rose Newton on April 13, 1985, in Oregon United states. She was raised in Coarsegold, California by her parents. She credits her comic ability to her Witty and sarcastic father and absurd mother. By that, she means in a good way. Lee was raised alongside her brother and a younger sister. Lee’s brother is Jake Newton, a musician, and a Youtuber. At one time she featured on her brother’ Youtube song cover of Whitney Houston’s ”I wanna dance with somebody.”

Moreover, Newton’s birth was not a normal one since she was born with several congenital heart defects such as ventricular septal defect, atrial septal defect, transportation of the great vessels and pulmonic stenosis. Luckily as of now, she is healthy despite undergoing four open-heart surgeries from the age of 14 days to 13 years old.

 

Since Lee grew up in a comedic vibe environment credit to her parents she started developing interest in performance and arts. Ultimately after completing her high school, she applied for a scholarship and studied theatre. Since it was the era of the internet and Youtube, Lee collaborated with her friends and started making videos for youtube upon graduation.

Lee Newton is married to Andrew Delman.  He is a stand-up comedian as per his Twitter bio suggest. The couple is far weirder than anyone, you can imagine. Although there is no official news about their wedding the couple is believed to have been married. However, after going through her Instagram we came to find out she married her long-time boyfriend in the courtroom on May 19, 2017.
