On February 13, 2018, the Filipina actress confirmed her relationship with the movie producer. Angel and Neil never felt the need to declare their relationship public as everyone already accepted their affair. According to Angel Locsin,

“This month. It was just this month that we became a couple.”

Even after confirming their relationship, the couple mentioned they will be enjoying their “In a relationship” status rather than rushing for a wedding. Locsin added,

“Right now, we are taking our time. I am just happy that he’s there beside me.”

On June 29, 2019, nearly a year later after confirming their relationship, Angel announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Neil. She confirmed her engagement with the producer through an Instagram account. Angel said,

“We’re engaged! Waaaah.”
