After Virginia Spencer moved to New York for more better opportunities and he joined WABC-TV. Christian worked as a reporter, weatherman, and sportscaster for the Eyewitness News from 1977 to 1986. Spencer is mostly known for his show Good Morning America which he joined in 1986 as the weatherman.

Spencer Christian has also hosted shows like Black Entertainment Television’s game show Triple Threat (1992-1993). From there, he moved to San Francisco, California after quitting Good Morning America in 1998. Before joining KGO-TV, he hosted shows for HGTV Spencer Christian’s Wine Cellar from 1995 to 1999.

Currently, Spencer is working with KGO-TV since 1999. Here he hosts shows like Tracks Ahead, The View from the Bay.
