She inherited the record company in 1995 from her husband, Eric Wright, a.k.a. Eazy-E., after his untimely death.
Above all, Tomica Wright is best known as the widow of the legend Eric Lynn Wright.

After a month, he announced that he was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS on March 16, 1995.
One month later after his diagnosis, Eazy-E died on March 26, 1995, from AIDS-induced pneumonia. It was his untimely death as he was just 30 years old.
Easy-E had his funeral on April 7, 1995, with 3000 people attending it. He is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California, in a gold casket.
