Dominic Sandoval aka D-Trix was born on 15th October 1985, in Roseville, California, United States. He holds American nationality and belongs to Filipino-American ethnicity. When D-Trix was only two years old, his father left him alone with his mother. Later, his mother married Conrad Pete Sandoval.

Sandoval developed a strong passion for dance from a tender age. He started to dance while he was studying in school. He often auditioned for dance competitions after finishing his studies.

Dominic started his career from the American dance show, So You Think You Can Dance where he performed with his partner, Sabra Johnson in 2007. Moreover, he became a part of a dance crew, Quest Crew with whom he on America’s Best Dance Crew season three. D-Trix competed with Camren Bicondova (from 8 Flavahz) and JC Chasez (from The Mickey Mouse Club).

Sandoval made his debut appearance in the American comedy family film, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel where he starred as Li’l Rosero Dancer in 2009. Further, he starred in the made-for-television movie, Agents of Secret Stuff in 2010. Similarly, Sandoval also starred in many television series, including Breaking Through, Shake It Up, and many others.
