I have a little story for you all… I spent my day summiting Mt. San Antonio. Something I’ve wanted to do for a LONG time, but something really special happened on this particular hike. My best friend and I were met by a new friend. He guided us ALL the way up the mountain, one of the hardest hikes I’ve done! He rested when we rested, waited for us when we would fall behind, showed us the fastest route, and all the water sources along the way. He hung out with us at the summit, then brought us all the way back down the mountain. At the bottom he said goodbye and trotted off down to the cabin that was very obviously his home. We called him George the Skullcrusher (for obvious reasons, but he wouldn’t hurt a fly) All this to say, I had a truly magical birthday. Thank you all for being a part of making it so special!
