When his acting is considered, Benjamin played on the Nickelodeon television series The Haunted Hathaways (2013–2015) as the character Louie Preston. Since 2015 he has portrayed Triple G on the Nickelodeon series Game Shakers.

In 2014, he made his physical first feature film appearance in Ride Along as Morris. He also performed a voice role portraying Atticus the rapping penguin in the animated feature film in Happy Feet Two. Benjamin belongs to the black ethnical background.
