Early Life:

Bisera Veletanlic was born on 15 Sep 1942 in Sisak, however, she is formerly from Bosnian Krajina, probably of Bosanka Krupa and Bosanki Novi. She began to sing a song at the age of 8. She used to sing only folk songs when she was little. when she walked to high school she began loving pop music and involved singing at the school program. Veletanlic graduated from the Secondary School of Economics in Zagreb. During that period, she also studied solo singing and violin at the music school.

Career:

Veletanlic began her career when she determined to pursue her career in music and singing after left her previous job. In 1960, she sang at first time in a public show at the age of 18.
She got an offer in Zagreb’s television and made her appearance in 1963 with her sister, Senka. She also succeeded to record her first single plate named ‘Red Flower’.There is as some songs like a duet with Arsen Dedic, 1971 “Do not Cry”, which was marked in 1970. Veletanlic has achieved great music star with the famous composer Cornelius Smith who was well expert in composing melodies that are suitable and excellent for a deep emotional voice.

She also spent 7 years in Germany where she sang about all styles and surmounted long text famous songs. her appearance In American clubs, in Germany, the visitors loved her performed.
Moreover, she also appeared in the movie. After her return from the Federal Republic of Germany, she performed small roles in the film ‘Throat Full’ of Strawberries directed by Srdjan Karanovic.
