Returning to her early life, the princess was born on 29 November 1974 in Taipei, Taiwan. Lin Fan-nan and Wu Tzu-mei are both from Tainan, in southern Taiwan. Similarly, she has a brother Lin Chi-hong. She was enlightened from Taipei Municipal Zhongzheng Junior High School, Bishop Strachan School in Toronto, Canada, the University of Toronto(majoring in Western art history and economics). She enrolled in Taipei Fine Arts Museum to pursue her career in acting and modeling.
