The veteran meteorologist married her soulmate in 1992 after dating for some years. Michael and Butler are together for twenty-seven years now and over the period their love for each other is multiplied.

The pair exchanged wedding vows in a very intimate affair. During their auspicious day, the lovely couple was surrounded by their loved friends, family, and relatives. The beautiful moment is well remembered by the couple and they recently celebrated their twenty-seventh marriage anniversary.

From their long marriage, the couple is proud parents of two children. Butler loves playing golf and now her daughters are also into the sports. With all the beautiful moments created in the pair life, they are living in a blissful marital relationship.

Butler’s husband owned a personal training studio when he first locked his eyes on Tracy. The meteorologist started working at ABC7 during that period. Michael put up the courage and asked her out on a date.

The couple went out for sometime before they made their affair official. After a year or two, Michael bought a ring and decided to propose her and he did that on a romantic trip. The duo traveled to Duquesne Incline, Pittsburg where Michael popped the question to marry her.

The Emmy-Award winning who works for ABC7 alongside the likes of Bill Evans, Lori Stokes, Liz Cho to name a few has a very interesting personal life. Butler plays Golf and absolutely loves the sport.

Not just her, her daughters also enjoys playing the game and during their free time, the whole family gathers on the golf course. Besides that, Butler participates in many charity programs mostly for the golf programs. Furthermore, Tracy founded her own foundation called The Duke Classic.

The Duke Classic is formed in the honor of Michael Dukewich, an ABC7 Cameraman who died in 2012. From the foundation, Butler already raised $60,000 to help the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the wounded Warrior project.

Setting the record for longest-serving Meteorologist is alone a noteworthy feat. But Tracy just keeps adding Glory to her name. She received the “Woman of the Year title” in 2012 by Executive Women’s Golf Association.

In addition to that, Butler won the Illinois Treasure’s Public Service Award and Public Education Award from the MS Society. For her best reporting on Surviving the Storm special, Butler received Emmy-Award in 2014. In an interview with Chicago Tribune, Butler remembers her glorious career at the ABC7.
