Jessi Cruickshank was born on July 17, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada as a Jessica Sharia Cruickshank. She is the daughter of Joyce Resin who was hosted of CBC show called Alive: She grew up with her sister Amanda Grace, who serves as a reporter and anchor for the KING-TV in Seattle. Cruickshank moved to the University of Toronto to earned a degree in English and Drama.
