Well, he is a popular American novelist, attorney, politician, and activist. His best genre is crime fiction legal thrillers which are translated in forty-two languages.

Born as John Ray Grisham Jr.

John Grisham was born on February 8, 1955, to father John Ray Grisham and mother Wanda Grisham. His father worked as a construction worker and cotton farmer just like John’s grandfather. Meanwhile, his mother was a homemaker. John was born as the second child among the five siblings. He follows Christianity and describes it to be the most important thing in his life. During school days he worked in a nursery, plumbing sector, asphalt crew and salesclerk in a department store as a child.

He attended Northwest Mississippi community college before joining Delta state University in Clevland. During his college days, Grisham changed three colleges before graduating with a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Mississippi state university.

Furthermore, John attended the University of Mississippi school of law initially to become a lawyer but shifted to study civil litigator and graduated with  Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1981.

John’s son works in the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association and the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
