A Evans, Georgia native, Josh Kelley is an American singer and songwriter. He is famous for recording for Hollywood Records, Threshold Records, and DNK Records as a pop-rock artist. His songs Only You and Amazing reached the top ten on the Billboard chart.

Josh Kelley was born as Joshua Bishop Kelley on January 30, 1980, in Evans, Georgia, the United States. Kelley holds an American nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. Similarly, his father John W.Kellye was a cardiologist and mother Gayle Kelley is a homemaker.

Josh joined the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi and is a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He played the guitar in the high school jazz band along with Charles(drums) and Dave Haywood(guitar) from Lady Antebellum.

Younger Brother Charles Kelley

Josh was raised in Augusta, Georgia along with his younger brother Charles Kelly and John Kelley. Unlike Josh, his brother Charles is also a musician and singer in the country trio Lady Antebellum. Together the Kelley brother formed a band called Inside Blue when they were a teenager. When Josh was fourteen, the band released a CD with five songs that lead them to meet James Brown.

Additionally, Charles worked together in his brother John’s construction business in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as an accountant for an affiliated waste management company.  Kelley made the move into the musical field after his brother Josh, who was a pop musician at the time, and they purchased a house in Nashville.

Musical Journey

In 2001, Kelley released an independent album, Changing Faces and signed with Hollywood Records a year later. While working with three-time Grammy nominee John Alagia, Kelley released the album For the Ride Home on June 3, 2003.  His third album, Just Say The Word was released under his own label Threshold. Similarly, On January 14, 2008, Kelley released his next album Special Company in the United States.

Married to Katherine Heigl

As said above, Josh is a married man and shares a blissful relationship with wife Katherine Heigl. The couple met in spring 2005 when Heigl was featured in his music video Only You. Eventually, they started knowing each other and became good friends. Within a very short span, their friendship turned into a relationship. The two were engaged on June 2006.

The couple adopted their second child a daughter Adalaide Marie Hope in April 2012. Apart from Nancy and Adalaide, Heigl is a mother of a son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr.. born on December 20, 2016. The family of five currently resides in Oakley, Utah.
