Evan Roderick was born on June 29, 1995, in Vancouver, Canada. He belongs to the white ethnicity. Evan grew up alongside his elder brother, Stuart. He was interested in music and theatre art from his childhood.

The 5 ft 11-inch actor attended primary school in his hometown, Vancouver. During the school days, Evan played hockey for three seasons in the BCHL. Due to his skills, he acquired a division 1 scholarship and played for The University of Massachusetts-Lowell in the NCAA. Due to the physical injuries, he had to leave hockey. It was the time when his brother Stuart suggested Evan try acting.
