Early life of Gaethje
Justin Gaethje was born as Justin Ray Gaethje on November 14, 1988, in Safford, Arizona. Born to mother Carolina Gaethje and father John Ray Gaethje, Justin holds an American nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity. His mother worked as a postmaster while his father was a copper miner just like his grandparents.
Justin got boxing skills from his paternal grandfather who boxed while serving in the US army. Moreover, he has a twin brother named Marcus John Gaethje who works at Arizona based Mine.
Gaethje’s wrestling career began when he was four during his school days at Safford High school. During his school days, he won two times Arizona state Champion and reached final for four-time. Gaethje is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services.

Justin gained All-American status in the NCAA Division and began his amateur MMA career. He is the first fighter to gain a name in NCAA and remained unbeaten in his seven bouts. Ultimately Justin signed a professional deal with World Series of Fighting and made his debut against Gesias Cavalcante in 2013.
Nevertheless, Justin made his debut in UFC against Michael Johnson and extended his record to 18-0 in 2017. Later, Justin became the coach of The Ultimate Fighter 26 and fight against Eddie Alvarez followed by the first loss in MMA career.
