Loretta Lynn first met her late husband, Oliver Lynn before only a month of their marriage in Kentucky who was an American talent manager and county music figure. Since then, they embarked their relationship to a new level. Later, they became engaged together.

The couple married on 10th January 1948, in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky. Together, they welcomed six beautiful children including, Betty Sue (1948-2013), Jack Benny (1949–1984), Clara Marie (born on 7th April 1952), Ernest Ray (born on 27th May 1954), Peggy Jean and Patsy Eileen (born on 6th August 1964).

After being in a marital relationship for half a century, Lynn’s husband died at age 69 on 22nd August 1996. Later, she wrote an autobiography, Still Woman Enough in 2002 describing her relationship with her late husband. In an interview, she has said that her marriage was one of the hardest love stories.
