Nate Torrence was born on 1st December 1977, in Canton, Ohio, United States of America. He is born to Hotelier Kathy Torrence who use to run a hotel offering lodging and breakfast in Berlin. Nate grew up in Berlin along with his elder brother Jay Torrence. Further, Torrence holds an American nationality and belongs to white ethical background.

Moving towards his education, Nate joined  Hiland High School in Berlin for his high school education. For a University degree, he attended  Kent State University; Stark Campus. After graduation, he studied improv at Second City in Cleveland and Los Angeles. Net also took classes for Comedy Sportz and The Groundlings in Los Angeles.

Nate started his career with a comedy troupe called Corn, Beef and Cabbage where he performed with his brother, Jay, and friend Josh Ruth. Later in 2003, he officially started his career at comedy groups where he made his debut role as Daniel O’Hannissey in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. 

Nate debuted his first television show in 2003 with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Daniel O’Hannissey. While in the same year, he also portrayed as Ted in the American sitcom, The Mullets. Torrence has given many hits movies and television series to the industry like Supernatural, Superstore, She’s Out of My League, Ghost Whisperer and many more.
