Back to his early life, Ryan Higa first cried on Earth in Hilo, the U.S. on June 6, 1990. Higa holds the American nationality and belongs to White American ethnicity. Ryan has an older brother named Kyle.

Ryan competed in judo and holds a black belt rank. Higa learned wrestling at Waiakea High School and completed his graduation from there.
