Sean Bean was born as Shaun Mark Bean on 17th April 1959 in Handsworth, West Riding of Yorkshire. His father Brian K. Bean was an owner of a fabrication company. His mother Rita Bean (née Tuckwood) worked in the same company as a secretary along with fifty other employes. He grew up with his younger sister Lorraine.
When Shaun was young he was very passionate about playing football. He wanted to pursue a career in football. Unfortunately, he couldn’t fulfill his ambition of becoming a professional football player. As he accidentally had a piece of glass embedded on his leg after kicking a glass door during an argument. That left a large scar in his leg and even made it difficult for Bean to walk normally for some time.
Sean Bean left Brook Comprehensive School with majors of Art and English in O levels.
