Simone Biles is an American artistic gymnast. She has won four gold medals at the 2016 Olympics in the all-around, team, vault competitions, and floor exercise. Furthermore, she is the only sixth woman to win the Olympics medal and the World Championship medal.

Simone Biles was born on March 14, 1997, in Ohio, the U.S to Kelvin Clemons and Shanon Biles. She is the third one among her four siblings. She has four siblings Adria Biles, Adam Biles, Ron Biles Jr., and Ashley Biles Thomas.
As her mother Shanon was addicted to drugs she could not get proper care of her parents during her early days. Her grandfather and grandmother raised her with love and care. Later, the couple adopted Simone and Adria officially.

In 2011, the renowned gymnast, Simone Biles began her career in American Houston. She placed 3rd all round excelling at the first position on vault and balance beam.
Later in the same year, she participated in the USA Classic in Chicago. She placed first in the USA Classic in Chicago which paved a way for her entry to National Championship.
Further, she made her senior international debut with teammate Katelyn Ohashi as replacements to Kyla Ross and Elizabeth Price after the two were withdrawn from the 2013 American Cup due to injuries.
The following year in the National Championships she was able to grab the all-around champion title ahead of Kyla Ross, the previous medalist.
Additionally, Biles won the Women’s All-Round Championship in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship. She also repeated her performance by grabbing the gold at the Gymnastics National Championship in 2014.
In 2016, she won the Pacific Rim Championships and the National Championship with a great margin in the all-around title.
