Conjugal life with Jeffrey Lurie
Christiana Weiss married billionaire Jeffrey Lurie in Gstaad, Switzerland, in 1992. She met Jeffrey during the shoot of the 1990 comedy movie I love you to death featuring Keanu Reeves, and Rain Phoenix brother of River Phoenix. Additionally, he was the co-producer of the movie. After dating for a couple of years they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.
However, despite being married for over 20 years they parted their ways in July 2012. The couple had an ongoing dispute on their marriage due to which they decided to divorce with mutual consent like matured individuals. Christiana filed for the divorce and call it to be “amicable”. Currently, they are still in touch and remained close friends sharing partnerships in the NFL team Philadephia eagles.
Subsequently, after their divorce, her family friend and lawyer Dave Kaplan opened the reason behind the separation. He told them they were different from each other in thinking style and added they should not have married at first.
