Florence Henderson filled love in her family after being born on Valentine’s Day in 1934 in a town Dale, Indiana, the United States. Her father, Joseph Henderson was a tobacco sharecropper, whereas, her mother, Elizabeth Elder was a homemaker.
During the time, the stock market was suffering from high unemployment, poverty, deflation, and low opportunities. So, her mother, Elizabeth taught her singing and also let their daughter sing at local grocery stores at the age of 12.
Following, her interest in acting started exploding. As she was the youngest of her 10 siblings, everyone used to support her for her dreams. Later, Florence attended St. Francis Academy in Kentucky and entrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Before her death, Florence Henderson had married her two husbands. At first, she was married to her ex-husband, Ira Bernstein. The couple never revealed anything about their marriage. After that, Florence tied the wedding knot with Dr. John George Kappas, a hypnotherapist. She had met John during her treatment for depression in around 1980s.
