Lauren Schmidt Hissrich was born on August 1, 1978, in  Westerville, Ohio. She graduated from Wittenberg University in 2000 with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing.

Lauren hasn’t mentioned any of her parent’s names but in one interview she did mention that she has an older brother who used to play soccer with her. Still, she didn’t mention her brother’s name too.  Lauren has kept her past life private due to some reason.
